Through examination, this study demonstrated how case studies, observations, and surveys contribute towards forming an effective evaluation process that supports ethical decision-making approaches and evidence-based findings.

Why I Selected This Artifact: This artifact comes from OL 615 and aligns with program learning outcome number seven, conducting research and communicating results successfully. Throughout this artifact, I was able to analyze and make connections across various sources displaying how children, teachers and families are impacted by one another within an educational organization when faced with a global challenge. While various sources can provide easy answers, conducting thorough research helped me identify and eliminate biases as I worked towards communicating a clear, coherent message that demonstrated the impact the pandemic had on child development from various viewpoints.

Program Learning Outcome and Course Objective: The artifact shared meets the course objective and program learning outcomes by demonstrating the impact research has on exploring, analyzing, and evaluating information to think critically when creating a management strategy. By developing critical questions, educational leaders are prompted to evaluate the information and conduct research before approaching a decision regarding child development. Processes, findings and decisions must be communicated with clarity and coherence to teachers and families, displaying relevance, logic, and depth to the process.
